Nouman Aslam Khan is a dedicated researcher and teacher at the School of Chemical and Material Engineering (SCME) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is the founder and principal investigator of mlGopro Machine Learning group at SCME with specialization in development of Machine Learning models and hyperparameter tuning using advanced natural inspired algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization.

Abdullah is a Connected Learning Tutor, School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Queen’s University Belfast, UK. He is involved in teaching computer science, programming, and electronics subjects. He is currently working on use of machine learning for water contamination detection. He is also PhD student carrying out research into developing low cost devices able to detect fecal contamination in water. He is based in the department of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. He is an Associate Fellow at The Higher Education Academy (UKPSF), with Bachelors in Electronics Engineering and MS in industrial Engineering and Management. He is actively working on spectroscopy and sensors,(IoT) with machine learning algorithms to develop a low cost device for contamination detection in water as part of his PhD at the University of Ulster, UK.
